MAi Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MAi, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must cease using the service immediately.

2. Service Description

MAi is an AI companion designed to provide conversational and interactive services on Discord. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

3. Data Handling

We do not share or access your data unless required by law. All chat history is encrypted and stored securely. We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and other applicable laws.

4. Subscription Services

Subscriptions to MAi are provided on a service-lending basis. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances, such as technical errors or billing issues.

5. Suspension of Services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to MAi without notice if you engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Sharing or promoting not-safe-for-work (NSFW) content.
  • Attempting to manipulate, exploit, or hack the AI model (LLM hacking).
  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or the bot.
  • Violating Discord’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.

6. Termination of Service

We may stop providing services to you at any time, for any reason. In such cases, we are not obligated to refund any payments made for subscriptions or other services.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TapticDev shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of MAi. This limitation applies even if TapticDev has been advised of the possibility of such damages. However, this limitation does not apply to liability resulting from gross negligence, fraud, or intentional misconduct.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Users agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through our Discord server or website. Continued use of MAi after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
